KNYSNA SAPS in conjunction with the Community Police Forum and local religious leaders will embark on a crime awareness drive to sensitise the community about policing matters affecting Hornlee - an area that contributes significantly to crime statistics in the Knysna policing precinct.
Residents of Hornlee and surrounds are requested to attend an event to be held at 3pm on Sunday March 24 at Die Parkie, which is situated in Kalender Street, where Sector 2 role-players will host a prayer day to quell crime in our midst.
Says Knysna SAPS spokesman sergeant Chris Spies: “Let us support one another as we join forces towards a safer town for all its inhabitants. Join us for a powerful prayer day as we pray for our protection and safety.”
