Forgotten treasures of our distant past discussed in Wilderness TONIGHT

ROCK art is all around us but hard to find. It’s artwork that depicts humans and animals, and reflects the earliest form of mankind’s creativity and storytelling.
Don’t miss the fascinating talk by Hugo Leggatt, local researcher of all things Wilderness, at 6pm for 6:30 on Wednesday August 28 at Wilderness Hotel.
Hugo will introduce the rich history of rock paintings and carvings found in caves and rock shelters in our area. With his impish sense of humour, you can be sure to be entertained as well as educated.
Rock Art of the Southern Cape is presented by the Wilderness Ratepayers and Residents Association. Entry is R10 for WRRA members and R20 for non-members. A cash bar and an opportunity to become a WRRA member will be available.
